Life began in Winston-Salem, at the Baptist Hospital in 1960. We moved to Clearwater, Florida from Greensboro in 1971. I moved my family back to Raleigh (Clayton) in 1992. I raised two beautiful girls for thirteen years before we moved back to Clearwater. Five years later my wife and I moved to Mooresville in 2010. I love North Carolina. I love the way my wife looks at me when we walk into a country store and my natural twang comes out.
I played baseball for Bob Moss on Franklin Drugs baseball team back in Greensboro. I played Babe Ruth baseball in Clearwater, FL, until 1976 when I re-discovered skateboarding. My mother Sarah, bought and used the first NEC APC home computer in 1977 and I began my love affair with computers.
I was a pro skateboarder while at the University of Florida. This was 1978-1980. After graduating in Political Science, I became a sales rep working in data centers across Tampa Bay. From there, I never left mission critical environments. I worked in RTP for thirteen years calling on high tech companies such as IBM, GSK and Cisco.
Now it’s time to work for myself, and you of course. I’ve searched a few times to see where my page ranks on Google and most of the guys I will be knocking off the front page claim to be local guys – they aren’t. How can they be local to every city in North Carolina? I’m one guy in my house working for you. And I am priced that way.
